Since 1988, we have continued to innovate, and in the course of 36 years, we have never stopped, and now we have become a professional overall solution provider for the medical device industry.

1988

The Company was founded in pursuit of goodness and charity, focusing on disposable medical consumables.

1991

The company built a national standardized production workshop for disposable infusion sets, promoting the formulation of enterprise standards and the standardized production of medical polymer instruments nationwide.

1998

The company was restructured and Weihai Medical Polymer Co., Ltd. was founded.

2000

Weigao Group obtained approval from the Ministry of Science and Technology for the construction of the "863" Industrialization Base, starting to build a medical polymer material industrial park.

2004

Shandong Weigao Group Medical Polymer Co., Ltd. went public on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.

2005

Established orthopaedic and pharmaceutical packaging businesses.

2006

The Technology Center of Weigao Group was authenticated as a national enterprise technology center by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Taxation Administration.

2010

Weigao Group was transferred from Hong Kong GEM to the Main Board.

2015

Weigao Group was ranked among the "Top 500 Chinese Enterprises" for the first time, becoming the only medical device company on the list.

2017

Weigao Group acquired Argon Medical and Rad Source Technologies, introducing internationally advanced technology to expand our global footprints.

2018

Weigao Group won the "Nomination Award of China Quality Award" for the first time and obtained the approval for the establishment of a National Technical Standard Innovation Base of Medical Device.

2019

Weigao Group was selected as one of China's leading private companies with outstanding management for 4 consecutive years.

2020

Weigao Group obtained RMB1bn IFC green bonds and RMB500 million loan.

2021

Shandong Weigao Orthopaedic Device Co., Ltd. (WEGO ORTHO) went public on the SSE STAR Market.

2022

Weigao Group established WEGO overseas business department to promote company’s international development process.

2023

Weigao Group acquired New Life Medical and Zhejiang Quantum Medical.
