As early as 2004, We initiated the "Weigao Brightness Action", providing free cataract surgeries for residents over 60 in Weihai, Shandong Province. This initiative has continued to the present day, now covering all citizens of Weihai,, with over 20,000 patients having received free surgeries to date. Over 30 years, we have also established several charitable projects, including the "Weigao Love Project" and the "Weigao Life Relay".

In the past 5 years, We have established several funds and projects, including“ Weigao Group Fund for caring for Veterans and Elder Party Member", "Wendeng District Weigao Red Jiaodong Cultural Heritage and Preservation Fund", "Weigao • Safe Living" hygiene product donation program, and "Little Bugle Service"project. Notably, the fund for veterans and elderly party members has provided care services to 1,632 individuals, including WWII veterans and retired soldiers. The "Weigao·Safe Living" project has assisted 1,421 individuals in need.

To ensure that people with disabilities can live with dignity, We have established a welfare company specifically to provide them with employment opportunities. The company offers training and education, helping them build confidence and maintain self-respect, enabling them to lead lives similar to those of non-disabled individuals. Among those employed are individuals with cerebral palsy, and through this social work, their rehabilitation is also supported.

Over the years, Weigao has broken the monopoly of foreign countries through independent innovation, carried out domestic substitution, lowered the price of products, and saved the country's medical expenditures and reduced the expenses of patients.

Medical devices directly bear on people's life and health. To be responsible for consumers, Weigao Group has always adhered to the business philosophy of "10,000 - 1 = 0". Even if one blood bag, one infusion set, or one piece of protective clothing is nonconforming, all products in the batch will be re-inspected and reworked, which is strictly followed by each of our workshops. Example 1: The quality inspector of the blood workshop found that the filling of a blood bag was insufficient during a sampling inspection, and then all the packaged 400 cases of blood bags in the workshop were re-weighed; finally, only this one was found with problems. Example 2: Some indicators for the torsion value of one slot-designed compression bolt did not meet the expected value, and then more than 2,000 products in this batch were all destroyed, with a value close to RMB 150,000 (unit market price: RMB 60). Example 3: At the early stage of the COVID-19 in 2020, the sealing strips of a batch of protective clothing produced by cooperative clothing enterprises were not tightly sealed. Weigao Group immediately decided to "recall those under delivery and shut down the production of remaining ones", and scrapped all the recalled 30,000 protective clothing.

Weigao Group's faith in striving for excellence: Every accident is a 100% event for every patient. Different from products in other industries, a product percent of pass is meaningless to medical products.

In recent years, Weigao Group has actively initiated digital transformation to ensure product quality by digital means. Among the first batch of demonstration enterprises, it has taken the lead in implementing unique device identifier (UDI) management of medical devices in the industry. Relying on the medical device traceability platform it has built, UDI data management can be carried out on medical devices in a point-to-point mode so that each product will have its own electronic "ID card". The opening up of the "information silos" among such links as registration, production, operation, use, and regulation has facilitated data sharing among the information platforms related to registration review and approval, clinical application, and medical insurance settlement. Finally, refined management with traceable sources, destinations, and responsibilities has been achieved in the whole lifecycle of medical devices.

We consistently uphold the philosophy of prioritizing employees' interests, fully respecting and caring for employees, uniting the strength of employees, and promoting business development.

To build a learning-oriented enterprise, we keep improving our talent cultivation mechanism. Weigao Group has established the Weigao Education and Training Center for employee training, and spends over RMB 100 million in cultivating top talents each year. Further, We collaborated with Renmin University of China to launch MBA training classes, and sent more than 90 middle and senior management employees for learning. Management executives with outstanding performance will be given the opportunity for further study abroad.

Weigao Group takes delight in excluding difficulties and anxieties for employees, trying best to help them weather the storm.

We have launched the "Golden Autumn Student Aid" Campaign to provide financial aid to employees whose children are admitted to universities. Since 2011, a total of 1,014 persons have been subsidized.

"Weigao Love Fund" has also been set up to help employees in difficulty every year relying on donations from cadres and employees as well as corporate investment. For extremely poor employees, financial aid will be granted twice. In 2022, the child of an employee from the infusion set company was diagnosed with leukemia. We subsidized RMB 500,000 at one time to help the employee tide over the difficulty.

For the food, housing, and transportation needs of employees, Weigao Group has built welfare housing for them to settle down in Weihai, Shandong Province. To offer employees' children access to education, Weigao Group has set up a kindergarten and after-school care center around the factory. In September 2023, Weigao Xinheyuan Kindergarten enrolled students for the first time. Rongai Jiayuan After-school Care Center has been open for 7 years. At present, a nine-year system school is under construction, and is expected to open in 2025.

· Freon Substitution Project under the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN): Reduce 50 tons of Freon emissions annually to effectively avoid ozone depletion.

· Reuse of reclaimed water after sewage treatment: Build a sewage treatment center with a daily capacity of 2,500 tons.

· Electron beam sterilization: Invest nearly RMB 100 million to build the first electron beam sterilization center for medical devices in China, reducing the use of ethylene oxide by 200 tons every year.

· DEHP-free TPE infusion set first launched in the industry: Decrease the use of DEHP by 1,500 tons every year and reduce environmental disruption and personal injury.
