Minister of the Ministry of Commerce Chen Deming Visited Weigao Group

   On the morning of March 16, Mr. Chen Deming, Minister of the Ministry of Commerce paid a visit to Weigao Group with the company of Mr. Zhou Qi, Assistant to the Governor of Shandong Province, Mr. Lv Zaimo, Director of the Department of Commerce of Shandong Province, Mr. Wang Peiting, Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CPC and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Weihai, Mr. Sun Shutao, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CPC and Mayor of Weihai, Mr. Jiang Yuyi, and Mr. Wang Zhengyu, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Management Committee of the Hi-new Tech Development Zone. Mr. Chen Xueli, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Mr. Zhang Huawei, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and President received the delegation headed by Minister Chen Deming.
   Minister Chen Deming was shown around in the product exhibition hall of Weigao Group and learned about the company’s development history, production and operation, product structure, technical innovation and economic efficiency. After learning that Weigao Group has broken through foreign technical monopoly of a number of products, Minister Chen Deming commended Weigao Group for its achievements of technical innovation. He also spoke highly of Weigao Group’s practice of appointing academicians of Chinese Academy of Sciences as consultants and upholding the philosophy of “mobilizing all available resources to serve the need of the company” Minister Chen Deming pointed out that independent innovation is the first motivation of a company’s sustainable development and that a company should explore the innovation mode in line with its characteristics, take bolder steps in its going global effort and expand the room of development.
