Weigao Holding was recognized as “Star Enterprises in Shandong with Chinese Patent Right” after re-assessment

Weihai, China, 31 August 2007 -- In order to make use of patent rights system, to encourage invention by enterprises, to increase enterprises’ competitiveness and to contribute to the patent rights application development, Department of Science & Technology of Shandong Province and Bureau of Intellectual Property of Shandong Province jointly performed the re-assessment of enterprises previously awarded with “Star Enterprises in Shandong with Chinese Patent Right”. This re-assessment has been successfully completed recently. 
In accordance with the “Methods on Recognition of Star Enterprises in Shandong with Chinese Patent Right”, the assessment committee re-assessed conscientiously those awarded enterprises. Shandong Weigao Group (“Weigao Holding” or “the Company”) passed the re-assessment for its innovative products with proprietary patent rights which highly facilitate the adjustment of product mix and enhance the market competitiveness of Weigao Holding. 
Weigao Holding was first awarded “Star Enterprises in Shandong with Chinese Patent Right” in April 2001. During the past years, the Company has continuously developed a wide range of high-technology products with proprietary intellectual properties which highly facilitate the adjustment of products mix and significantly enhance the competitiveness of the Company.
